online document retrieval

Goodhue County Abstract Company, in collaboration with CountyRecords.com, offers Online Document Retrieval for all abstract documents recorded in Goodhue County since January 1, 2000.

Reduce travel time and expenses by finding documents on-line. After a quick registration process, users just log into the site, choose the desired county, and start searching the database by filling in one or more criteria (Grantor, Grantee, document number, etc) and clicking the Search button. A list of documents matching the specified criteria is displayed. Clicking on an item in the list will then display the document images, ready for printing or faxing, etc. It's that simple.

Three different searches are available:

Search by Document Number:
You may search the database by the Document Number for any document recorded after January 1, 2000.

Search for Plat Maps by Plat Name:
You may search for a copy of a plat map by searching the Plat Map database. At this time most plats are available for viewing.

Search by Document Index Values (ie: Grantor, Grantee, Recorded Date, Legal Description, etc.)
You may search the database by any index value for 3 months prior to the certification date.

All Documents found may be viewed, printed or e-mailed to the address provided during account set up.

To enroll in this service, please visit www.countyrecords.com and follow the instructions to set up a new account. The enrollment form requires you to provide a credit card for billing purposes. Fees for this service can be billed per search or unlimited access for a monthly fee.
